Accessibility Statement

Daily Laces wants everyone to be able to shop with us, including customers who use a screen reader, screen magnifier, voice control, keyboard-only navigation or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We design and test dailylaces.com against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Accessibility is ongoing work: we test changes before they go live and fix problems as we find them.

What we have done

  • On October 13, 2026 we audited the site with automated testing (axe-core) and hands-on keyboard testing of the home page, collections, search, product pages, size guide, bag and contact form, in desktop and phone layouts, and fixed what we found.
  • Menus, filters, product options and the bag work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
  • Pop-up panels (menu, filters, size guide, bag) keep keyboard focus inside while open, close with the Escape key, and return you to where you were.
  • Slideshows, scrolling announcements and video have pause buttons, and stay still when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Product photos have text descriptions, form fields have labels, and we check text colours against the WCAG AA contrast ratio.
  • Pages reflow on small screens and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.

Known limitations

  • Checkout, customer accounts and payments are provided by Shopify and payment partners such as Shop Pay and PayPal. We don't control their code. Shopify publishes its own accessibility conformance reports, and we pass on any problems customers report to us.
  • Some product photos and descriptions come from the brands we carry and may be brief. Ask us and we will describe any product in detail.
  • The map on some pages is provided by Google. Our address is also given as text: 1409 34th St, Lubbock, TX 79411.
